Purchase & Refund Agreement

1. Nature of the Product

ThaksPhoto sells digital photographic files and image licenses. These are intangible digital goods delivered electronically. By completing payment you acknowledge that you are purchasing a digital product that is made available for immediate download.

2. When an Image is "Delivered"

An image is considered delivered at the earliest of the following events:

• a download link or download button is made available on the order confirmation page; or
• a delivery / download email is sent to the email address provided at checkout; or
• the file has been downloaded at least once from your account or download link.

3. Non-Refundable After Delivery

All payments are final and non-refundable once the image has been delivered (as defined in Section 2). Because digital files cannot be returned, no refund, exchange, or cancellation is available after delivery.

4. Refunds Before Delivery (10% Processing Charge)

If you cancel an order, or a refund is agreed, before the image has been delivered, a refund will be issued less a 10% processing & transaction charge of the total amount paid. This deduction covers BML gateway fees and administrative costs that are non-recoverable.

Example: on an order of MVR 1,000, a pre-delivery refund returns MVR 900 and retains MVR 100 (10%).

5. Full Refunds (No Charge)

A 100% refund with no deduction is provided only where the fault is ours, including:

• payment was charged but no order was created due to a technical/gateway error;
• you were charged more than once for the same order (duplicate charge);
• the delivered file is corrupt or materially not as described and cannot be re-delivered.

6. How to Request a Refund

Refund requests must be made within 7 days of payment by contacting us through the contact page and quoting your order number. Approved refunds are returned to the original BML card/account and may take 7–14 business days to appear, depending on your bank.

7. Chargebacks

Please contact us before raising a chargeback or dispute with your bank. Chargebacks filed on successfully delivered digital goods will be contested with delivery and download evidence.

8. Pricing & Currency

All prices are shown and charged in Maldivian Rufiyaa (MVR). Applicable taxes are shown at checkout. The amount displayed before you click "Pay" is the amount that will be charged.

9. License & Use

Purchase grants a non-exclusive license to use the image as described on the product page. Files may not be resold, redistributed, or sub-licensed. Copyright remains with ThaksPhoto unless otherwise agreed in writing.

10. Acceptance

By ticking the agreement box at checkout and completing payment through the BML gateway, you confirm that you have read, understood, and accepted this Agreement.
